  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • ¾ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • 11 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1 container chocolate fudge frosting
  • 1 cup whole milk

  3. Beat the cake mix with the eggs, oil and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven.
  6. Melt the butterscotch chips with the butter and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
  7. Stir until smooth, then pour over the baked cake.
  8. Sprinkle the nuts and chocolate chips on top.
  9. Spoon the remaining cake batter on top and then bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Cool completely, then frost with the chocolate fudge frosting and sprinkle over more nuts and chocolate chips.
